50 years or more of dust
This is the Great Soundboard. Most of the pipes have been removed, and you can see the dirt, dust and debris on the rack boards. This amount of dirt is also in every pipe.
Above you can see the Great Soundboard before and after cleaning. The picture on the left shows water marks where rain came into the organ a number of years ago. Fortunately there was no serious damage.
