Adderbury Methodist Church organ was completely overhauled during the Summer of 2009.
The church was to be improved with the addition of inside toilets and a new kitchen area. This involved extending the building and using an area where a brick built lean to housed the organs Blower, Bellows and Tremulant. The Bellows and Tremulant were already in poor condition as rain and atmospheric conditions had dissolved animal glue, and destroyed the leather. These had to be moved into the organ chamber, and having discarded the old multi-contact action there would be room for all three items.
The complete project on the organ included;
Re-leathering the Bellows. Re-leathering the Tremulant. Replace Blower & Power Supply. Fit Processor for Switching. Replace Internal Leather valves with Pallet magnets. Paint Display Pipes.
